Project Overview
Located in Johannesburg, South Africa, this project supports an envelope manufacturing and printing facility with two customized GoodWe C&I solar and energy storage systems, each designed to meet different operational requirements.
Site 1: Supporting Continuous Manufacturing Operations
Serving the factory's receipt and envelope production area, the first installation features 4 GoodWe ET 100 kW hybrid inverters, eight BAT 56 battery units, and one SEC3000C controller. With 400 kWp of PV capacity, 400 kW of inverter power, and 450 kWh of energy storage, the system supports a consistent power supply for daily manufacturing operations.
Site 2: Maintaining Power for Water Filtration
Dedicated to the facility's water filtration system, the second installation combines one ET 100 kW hybrid inverter with two BAT 56 battery units. Featuring 120 kWp of PV capacity, 100 kW of inverter power, and 112 kWh of energy storage, the system helps maintain power availability for critical water treatment processes.
Together, these two installations demonstrate how GoodWe's C&I solar and storage solutions can be configured to address different industrial energy demands, supporting production continuity and essential facility operations.
