GoodWe wins TÜV Rheinland All Quality Award for sixth year in a row
SMT Series takes first place and sells out on first day



On April 28 the TÜV Rheinland PV Awards was held in Hangzhou, China. GoodWe won the "All Quality Award" for the large residential and small C&I medium power category and continues to lead the distributed generation PV market with its sixth consecutive TÜV award. 


TÜV announced the efficiency measurement results for the large residential and small C&I medium power category and GoodWe's SMT inverter stood out for its input capacity, conversion efficiency, power quality, output capacity, and thermal stability. The outstanding performance passed the TÜV test and secured the first place by a large margin.

GoodWe’s SMT series is compatible with the latest industry standards and requirements. Fang Gang, Vice president and Co-founder of GoodWe said that "with the current trend of cost reduction and efficiency improvement, high-power modules have become mainstream as they help maximize the installed capacity in a given roof area. 30kW C&I systems have therefore become a market standard and require higher current which, in turn, requires high quality inverters. The answer to that is GoodWe”. 



This year’s winning model, GoodWe’s GW30K-MT has become a super popular product. With the surge in market demand and shortage of "chips", demand has skyrocketed. The product’s popularity, however, is mainly due to its strength. It allows a maximum input current of 12.5A per string, which makes it compatible with high-power modules and bi-facial modules, and the next generation of 15A will be launched soon.

It provides multiple communication options including RS485, WiFi, GPRS and PLC. Unlimited high-current and 10% AC overloading boost the actual output power to 33000W. But with higher currents come higher safety requirements. GoodWe’s MT series certainly does not disappoint with its AFCI2.0 technology and high-performance processing chips, which ensure accurate identification and intelligent shutdown. The safety features and overall quality of this inverter are simply unique.
