GoodWe recently hosted its “Empowering Solar Solutions – Indonesia” roadshow in Jakarta, convening key stakeholders across the solar and storage value chain to debut its latest residential off-grid products and showcase purpose‑built microgrid solutions for remote islands and villages.
Henry He, Southeast Asia Sales Director, and Patrick Lim, Indonesia Country Manager, opened the event with a joint welcome, reaffirming GoodWe’s commitment to advancing reliable, clean energy access throughout the archipelago. Kayla, Sales Manager for Indonesia & the Philippines, then delivered a corporate overview and strategic outlook, highlighting GoodWe’s expanding local presence and service network.

The keynote launch was led by Brad Yang, Senior Solutions Manager, who introduced two new residential offerings: the EO G2 off‑grid inverter and the Lynx A G4 16 kWh low‑voltage battery. The EO G2 features a 4.3‑inch touchscreen, 200% PV oversizing, a 21A PV input compatible with over 99% of modules, 98.6% maximum efficiency, and a switch time under 4 ms. Fully sealed with IP66 protection and aviation‑grade connectors, it operates from -20°C to +55°C with built‑in AFCI for real‑time fault detection, while supporting parallel connection of up to 10 units, full‑home backup, and ultra‑silent mode. The Lynx A G4 battery provides modular, safe storage for daily self‑consumption and backup.
Scalable Off‑Grid Solutions for Islands and Villages
Addressing Indonesia’s unique geography, GoodWe presented turnkey off‑grid architectures that deliver reliable 24/7 power independent of the main grid.
● Single Inverter Microgrid: Centered on the SEC3000C controller, this design manages on/off‑grid switching, load and diesel generator control, and backup coordination. Smart ports allow flexible integration of additional PV inverters, large loads, or generators, maximizing solar utilization and minimizing fuel consumption.
● Multi Inverter Microgrid: For larger communities, a scalable system combines up to six ET100 kW inverters with multiple BAT-C100 battery clusters to deliver 660 kW peak output and 5.376 MWh of energy capacity. With parallel AC/DC architecture, N+1 redundancy, and centralized monitoring via SEMS+, the solution provides stable, dispatchable power that can gradually displace diesel generation.
All systems feature full‑system IP66 protection, corrosion‑resistant aviation‑grade connectors, and wide temperature tolerance, ensuring low‑maintenance operation in harsh coastal and tropical environments.

A panel of policymakers, developers, financiers, and technology experts explored the policy, regulatory, and financing shifts needed to scale solar‑plus‑storage in Indonesia. Discussions centered on closing regulatory gaps, improving tariff structures, streamlining permitting, and fostering public‑private collaboration—with a strong consensus that integrated, storage‑backed solutions are vital for energy security. Panelists recognized solution providers like GoodWe as essential long‑term partners in delivering scalable, bankable systems tailored to Indonesia's diverse needs.
The roadshow concluded with GoodWe underscoring its role as a dedicated partner in Indonesia’s energy transition, committed to powering homes, businesses, and entire off‑grid communities with innovative, reliable solar and storage technology.
