123 MW Aquaculture-Solar PV Project in China

Project Overview

Located in Tianchang, Anhui Province, this 123 MW fishery-solar complementary project deploys 383 GoodWe GW320K-UT string inverters above aquaculture ponds, enabling solar power generation and aquaculture within the same water area. Installation above water requires higher levels of equipment protection and long-term reliability because of constant moisture exposure. With an IP66-rated enclosure and a robust design for utility-scale applications, the UT Series supports efficient power conversion and stable operation in this demanding environment. The plant generates approximately 120 GWh of electricity annually, saving around 45,000 tonnes of standard coal and reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately 118,000 tonnes each year.
