Reliable Energy for Daily Care at a Cape Town Animal Shelter

Project Overview

Located at Cape Town, South Africa, this project supports a shelter dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming animals. After operating without electricity for almost four years, the shelter needed a dependable energy supply to support its daily work.

GoodWe sponsored an ES Uniq 8 kW inverter and a BAT 14.3 kWh battery for the project. With electricity now available for lighting, refrigeration, washing and other essential needs, the system has made daily operations easier and helps the shelter provide better care for the animals it supports.
