GoodWe Receives EcoVadis Gold Medal, Ranking Among the Top 2% in Its Industry

GoodWe has been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal for the second consecutive year, achieving a score of 86 out of 100 in its latest sustainability assessment. This marks a four-point increase compared with the previous year's score of 82. The company's continued progress in its environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices has placed it among the top 2% of companies in the renewable energy industry globally.

EcoVadis is a globally recognized provider of business sustainability ratings, with a longstanding focus on ESG performance across global supply chains. Its assessments evaluate companies' sustainability management practices across four key areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. As businesses place increasing emphasis on responsible supply chains, EcoVadis ratings serve as an important reference for evaluating suppliers' ESG practices and supporting continuous improvement.

Progress Across All Four Assessment Areas

GoodWe recorded improvements across all four EcoVadis assessment areas, demonstrating continued efforts to strengthen its ESG management practices.

A key contributor to the overall improvement was the increase of five management indicator scores from "Good" or "Advanced" to "Outstanding" (100 points). These include Endorsements under Environment and Labor & Human Rights, Coverage under Ethics, and Reporting under Environment and Labor & Human Rights.

Strengthening ESG Practices Through Concrete Actions

GoodWe's latest assessment results are supported by continued progress in international commitments, sustainability reporting and human rights management. Key developments include:

    ● Climate action: GoodWe submitted a commitment to set near-term science-based emissions reduction targets under the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), supporting its efforts to align climate action with international goals.

    ● Workplace inclusion: GoodWe became a signatory to the United Nations Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs), reinforcing its commitment to equal opportunities and an inclusive working environment.

    ● ESG transparency: With the publication of its 2025 Sustainability Report, GoodWe has maintained five consecutive years of ESG and CSR reporting. Its reporting indicators for Environment and Labor & Human Rights received full scores in the latest EcoVadis assessment.

    ● Human rights management: GoodWe further strengthened its human rights management framework through human rights impact assessments and supporting governance policies.

"The increased score from EcoVadis compared to last year is ecouraging, confirming the continued progress in our ESG efforts. But the value of the assessment also lies in telling us the areas we can still improve," said Dr. Kenan Zhang, Director of Sustainable Development Research Institute at GoodWe. "As we continue developing PV and energy storage solutions for global markets, we need to strengthen how ESG practices are implemented across our operations and supply chain. Our next priorities include closer supplier engagement, more consistent management practices and clearer reporting of our progress."
