GoodWe Launches “Power to Recover” Initiative to Support Cyclone-Affected Communities in Sri Lanka

Cyclone Ditwah has severely impacted communities across Sri Lanka. GoodWe has launched the “Power to Recover” Initiative to support restoration of essential energy access in impacted regions.

As local infrastructure and solar systems have suffered heavy damage, GoodWe and our local partners Mega Solar, and Alta Vision have teams on the ground supporting families and coordinating recovery efforts.

Inverter Relief Program

To assist customers whose solar systems have been damaged by the cyclone, GoodWe proposes creating an Inverter Relief Initiative that includes:

        - Free diagnostic checks for inverters in cyclone-affected districts

        - Priority processing of claims from affected customers

        - Support for Damaged Inverters - As part of the initiative, GoodWe is offering a discount on replacement of GoodWe inverters for units that were severely damaged or rendered unusable due to the cyclone. 

        - Reconstruction Subsidy for New Installations - To further assist families and businesses rebuilding in cyclone-affected areas, GoodWe is introducing a special reconstruction subsidy for new solar installations.
