GoodWe 50/60kW String Inverter Surpasses 150,000 Shipments in China, Driven by Low-Noise C&I Solar Demand

GoodWe has reached a new shipment milestone for its 50/60kW string inverter series, with more than 150,000 units delivered in China from its market debut in October 2024 through the end of 2025.

The rapid uptake in one of the world's most demanding and densely deployed solar markets reflects positive market feedback.

The inverter was designed with a focus on installation simplicity and noise reduction, drawing insights gathered from extensive C&I project site visits.

According to GoodWe, demand for quiet operation is especially strong in people-dense environments. The 50kW model from the company’s SDT series, introduced to the European market in October 2025, also emphasizes low-noise performance, operating at a sound level below 50 dB even at full load.

Earlier in 2025, GoodWe’s SDT series received low-noise performance certification by TÜV Rheinland, recognizing the product’s low-noise design, optimized thermal performance, and structural engineering. The certification makes GoodWe the world's first brand to obtain such certificate in the C&I inverter segment.

The shipped inverters have been widely deployed in solar projects across schools, healthcare facilities, government buildings, and mixed-use urban spaces. Weighing only 33 kg, the inverter’s compact and lightweight design simplifies rooftop installation and retrofitting, particularly for small to medium-sized commercial buildings with structural or space constraints.
