We are in an extremely exciting growth phase to open new market and business areas, therefore GWEG is looking for professionals willing to be part of the team striving for GWEG’s success in building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) industry.
Overview of this position
The BD position for BIPV is an excellent opportunity for a forward thinking, action-oriented professional looking for new challenges within a dynamic, growth-oriented company.
The successful candidate will be a highly independent and accountable individual who is focused on promoting GWEG’s BIPV products and solutions while growing GoodWe market shares step forward to EMEA region.
Report to: Managing Director of GoodWe EMEA
What you will do:
I) Area of responsibility (but not limited to):
o Partner with GWEG management team to identify and implement the go-to-market strategy for BIPV, channel and partnership development, growth planning, as well as promote brand and awareness in the market.
o Actively pursue sales leads with multiple sales pipelines, create and nurture strong and resilient business relationships with strategic partners, architects, house builders, construction and roofing companies and other stakeholders at multiple levels, manage a sustained pipeline of opportunities for GWEG.
o Be the first point of contact and gatekeeper to the GWEG’s BIPV business in EMEA region.
o Collaboration with global team and external key stakeholders, to realize business cases from initiation to operations.
o Undertake deep market intelligence research and share back with management team to review regional strategy refinement and business planning.
o Be part of an energetic, international, and creative team that solves problems for BIPV business in various countries and builds a fast-growing player in the BIPV market
What do you need to shine?
• Bachelor’s degree, with commercial or related technical disciplines.
• A min. of 4 years’ exposure to the residential and/or commercial roofing market
• Business development expertise with a proven sales track record in BIPV industry
• Familiar with building or roofing materials, architectural designers, housing developers, builders or installers
• Solar Tiles sales experience is preferred
• Familiar with local industry standards and construction specifications of roofing materials
• Able to work as self-starter with high degree of independence, sharp market sense, strong development and sales ability
• Solid understanding of existing and emerging standards for residential PV and BIPV solutions
